Rustic Elegance -

For the western bride

June 29th will forever be remembered as a day steeped in love, music, and a touch of modern western charm. On a breezy summer day in the quiet town of Tenino, Washington, Hailey and Nathan (Bailey) tied the knot while honoring their traditions, their loved ones and above all, God. There was truly something about this Faith-centered day where you felt his presence in all the details and the people surrounding us.

From the moment I arrived, I could feel the energy — a perfect blend of rustic beauty and contemporary elegance. The venue sat among rolling fields bathed in golden sunlight, setting an effortlessly romantic backdrop for the day. I had my full team with me: my talented videographer Cat from Catsvisionmedia capturing every cinematic detail, and my incredible second shooter Remy from Remy Elizabeth Photos lending her sharp eye and creative touch to each and every moment. Together, we documented a story that felt timeless. We got the chance to bring out the drone for some iconic bridal party moments,  capture their special day on film and digital. It was truly such an honor to celebrate two special humans starting their first day of forever, together.

Getting rEady

One of the most marvelous aspects of this venue is the fact that there are three spaces for getting ready purposes. With log cabins embodying that "Washingtonian vibe" built from the sturdy timber born of the pacific northwest, we felt grounded by the warm rustic beauty. The property itself was wrapped in lush greenery with sunlight filtering through the trees and caressing the plentiful foliage. The groomsmen began dressing in the space above the Reception hall in the Barn,  the groom anticipating the arrival of his bride. As we shared laughs and shuffled around to adjust our coats and collars, we comically inhaled the last bites of our food before the first look. The new wife to be set her earrings on so delicately, the glimpses of her loved ones helping her prepare to make her entrance. A brief moment of calm shared amongst her family. The day goes by faster than you think so indulging in these moments as the day goes on is essential!

A Ceremony Filled With Heart

Hailey and Bailey’s ceremony was the epitome of love and grace. The décor fused modern minimalism with subtle rustic inspiration — think soft, white florals paired with rich pearl details, and a monochrome palette that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the farm. As Hailey walked down the aisle, a hush fell upon the guests, broken only by the sound of gasps among the crowd. Their performance filled the air with soulful harmonies that carried across the fields, weaving emotion into every second. When a moment of prayer took place, hands filled the sky like clouds about to pour the rain of wisdom, wishes, and the spirit of Jesus into the union we were witnessing.

Commemerating the dearly beloved

A seat in the front row of the ceremony was reserved for the grooms beloved parents who could not be there in person. A subtle and honorable reminder of their love and memory. Though deeply missed- They remain apart of this day.

Sunset Frolicking & Golden Light

As the day melted into evening, the sky turned to gold — and of course, we couldn’t resist. We led Hailey and Bailey into the long, windy farm grasses, where they danced, laughed, and simply lived in the moment. The light was perfect — that dreamy golden-hour glow that makes every frame feel like a painting. These portraits became some of my favorite images of the day: pure, carefree joy framed by the beauty of the land. Not to mention, a visitor deer came to bless the bride and groom to be on their monumental day.

A Night of country-style swing

Once the reception began, the energy became tangible! Guests kicked off their heels (some literally) for rounds of line dancing, laughter echoing under the twinkle lights. The music was lively, the food was warm and hearty, and the dance floor never vacant. It was the type of evening that perfectly summed up Hailey and Bailey’s love story — fun, genuine, and full of life. Not to mention a spectacular live performance from the bride's family’s music — a Harn family tradition.

This Tenino farm wedding was more than just a celebration; it was a heartfelt tribute to family roots, love, and centering their marriage around the King of all Kings.
